In MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama, Heartstrings, even though Jung Yonghwa is the rough vocal of a flower-boy band who will live or die with his guitar, it is expected that he sometimes has an unpredictable side to him.

In the released photos, Jung Yonghwa looks absorbed when playing the guitar, and his clear yet focused eyes as the guitar prodigy Lee Shin leads to greater anticipation.

Jung Yonghwa explained, “When I first received the script, I thought Lee Shin’s character was cold and indifferent. But as I got closer to the character I realized he only looks cold as he has no interest in anything other than music. When you take a closer look inside, he seems like a charismatic person who has a warm and meticulous side to him too.”

He also expressed, “I’m happy to have a character that fits me in such a good production which allows me show myself as an actor, and am also working hard to fulfil everyone’s expectations.”

Following MBC’s The Greatest Love, Heartstrings is a youth melodrama which focuses on the dreams, friendship and love of the youths set on a backdrop of an arts university and will air its first episode on June 29.

The popular band, CNBLUE has completed their first original album activities. On May 22, CNBLUE performed their last stage which was broadcast live on SBS Inkigayo. CNBLUE, who announced their lead song “Intuition” on March, reached 1st rank on various music charts and TV program rankings. To continue (their promotions), they produced romantic ambiance with cheerful subsequent song “LOVE GIRL” and gained popularity.

Their agency, FNC Music, added to Star News that: “CNBLUE has successfully completed their 3 months album activities”, and they said, “Jung Yong Hwa and Kang Min Hyuk have started their acting activities for (MBC) TV drama “You’re fallen for me”, which is scheduled to air in June.”

In addition to the members’ acting activities, CNBLUE will be producing a new album in Korea and Japan, and plans to prepare new activities.
